I'm a girl who still clings with much reverence to the kind of writing that I can hold in my hands--my stamps and stationery, my pen-and-ink greetings and salutations, and the triumphant, cool-metal of the mailbox flag. I still harbor an expectant hope in the sound of the mail carrier rustling about in his jeep to find a bundle of mail with my name on it. And I still hold my breath for that inevitable "p.s" that can often say more than the letter itself. In the hopes that I may inspire ONE letter to be written, sealed, and sent(that wouldn't have been otherwise), I would like to extend the invitation to everyone to read along with me the entirety of all my future correspondence.
You named your blog 'Letters In Longhand.' Can I believe my eyes?!? Me, who is trying to rev-up my real letter correspondence again. And looking through Blogger's Interests, for something which suggests that they too, want to write letters.
And I've clicked on quite a few blogs. But never have I found one which 'says it all.' In the very name of the blog. :-)
I don't understand your posts of letters, actually. Does this mean that you photograph and post every letter you write? I doubt it. But I've been on the computer for long enough tonight, and I can't read more of your posts, I fear.
So anyway, if you have the time, and want to look at my blog, the link is below. And my email addy is on my Sidebar. If you would like to try correspondence with me, you can write me an email and we can exchange addresses.
